Who knocked anyone....I said good driving.....I know you seriously don't think a evo is in the same class with Porsche.....any Evo is the 24 hour le mans? He was jumping curves to get a better position to pass the Porsche. the Porsche stayed on the road the whole time obviously showing he wasn't pushing it as hard as he could. If he was he would have been using the curves the same way. You use the inside tire to ride the curb and it forces more weight to the outside tires allowing better turn in. Canexican read all of the post before you pick and choose which parts you want to reply to thanks. Again good driving......the Evo was driving to win the Porsche was driving for fun but not to win unless he's just a horrible driver......By the way Porsche trumps any legacy the Evo has by decades in racing.........Now in this whole post anywhere did I bash your precious Evo?

The Porsche stayed on the track......You were hoping curves to get the straight line advantage (quickest route from point a to b is a straight line)...unless he was just a bad driver....he was not going at it 100%. I'm sure your Evo is fast and setup good. A Porsche is the pinnacle of road racing. No it's not about straight line......but has Porsche ever been about straight line? He was leaving you in the straights that does not mean that's what it's all about.

Then it's not worth it in anyway to take the chance of totaling either cars. It was obviously less important to the evo driver. Again not taking anything away from the evo or the driver....he drove to win.

because it was obvious he was just going to rear end him......I know this isn't a serious arguement here....Let's weight the consequences to getting in a wreck on a race track.....Insurance won't cover it....so 30 grand as opposed to what looks like either a GT3 or a highly modded Porsche. Funny but you never see Evo racing the GT series with Ferrari's, Porsche's, S7's,.........Like I said nice driving but I can assure you he wasn't willing to crash his Porsche for that position.......How much was the winnings?

I'm thinking the guy in the $100k+ porsche didn't want to get rear ended by the 30 grand evo......otherwise he walked away from you on the straights......good driving though in either case.

The best of the best will always be at each other's necks in the racing world pushing the limits. Not sure what you meant by "do ya think a TT APS 402 blocked Ws6/GTO could say hang with you" but the :-/ thing means sarcasm.....how many 800+ whp cars ever drive on any streets. This was just a neat video as I have only seen the videos of it running down the strip before....this one just added a bit more to it. Canexican....I'm sure the driver looks like Popeye after running this thing a few times.

Obviously as it was setup with the skinnies in the back it wasn't for track runs......No reason this car couldn't be driven daily like the 1300 horsepower supras on here :-/
