just a suggestion, but you should consider investing in a tripod, looks like the cameraman has shaky hands and was zooming in too far. nice cars though.

No times because this track is just for fun, it has no working timing system at the moment... the track was just recently built.
My most recent track visit got me a 13.416 @ 104.80 mph, but the trap speed was lower than it should have been because I accidentally turned the boost up too high.

Jeez that last run was CLOSE. Nice runs man. I think the WHP numbers on that S4 are a bit low, it pulled about as hard as that 514whp cobra, and the S4 is AWD.

yeah I agree, it'd be cool for him to go for the record, but he's getting pretty frustrated with the car now, he's looking at going to a coupe model instead of the convertible now.

We still haven't gotten him to run at the quarter mile yet, but it's not a 9 second cobra by any means. He runs 1000' pretty frequently, running an 8.90 1000'...usually you add about 2 seconds to your 1000' to get quarter mile (obviously not 100% accurate)...but somewhere in the low 11/high 10's would be likely for him.

Power to weight ratio is good and all, but nobody ever factors in torque. The regal more than likely has a torque advantage, as well as not having to pause for shifting.
Nice kill for the regal, but they're still two very nice cars, I'd drive either of them, so they both get thumbs up from me.

Congrats on the base numbers man, stuff like this is exactly why one day I will own an L67 powered regal and swap a turbo kit on it. Great job with the car so far, and good luck with it in the future :)

Blown4banger, sweet Cobalt man. I looked at getting one before I got my Neon, but they were a little too pricey for me at the time. I must say, you have the best sounding CSS S/C I've heard so far, and that thing was pulling like a mofo. Good luck with getting it back up to 100% man. I look forward to more videos of the car.

Video proof FTW. Simply put, the cobalt won. I've talked to both guys, and they do indeed both have the mods listed. 1/4 mile wise, the cobalt would probably lose, but a GTP is not going to do that great from a roll without rockers or a cam
