48c74537: The supra was running rich and the builder/driver of the EVO ended up tuning the Supra 3 days later for a good sized gain! On that race we let out at 195mph and the EVO was pretty much topped out, so we had to let out! And at that speed, with that close of a race you will blurt out some crazy sh^t!

Thanks for the comments on the video! The car gets shipped back overseas today, so I'm heading to the shop here in a few to get the last of the video (hopefully some AWD launches).
c9bc61b7: No rematch, the supra guy came to the shop and the owner of the EVO tuned the supra to 120+ MORE WHP so its out of our league now!
Search for fq-340 and you'll see the dyno video that just made the other day, and then this next week ill combine all of the video that i have and make a big one for everyone.....enjoy!

Just so you know the Supra has forged pistons, and cams, but is stock porting on the head, IIRC.....so its no slouch, and the EVO does have the stroker kit and a Cosworth head....but the EVO is also running a smaller turbo then the Supra, and has one more person, and i would dare to mention that it weights just a good bit more then the Supra (since its got the biggest brakes, no weight reduction, and a 30gal. fuel cell in the trunk in addition to its stock one :-D )

EvoIXMR: I prepared myself for the wurst, but all i have gotten is compliments, and people saying that they watch the video daily! Its just amazing the kind of power that the EVO is putting out.....to answer your question, yes it is stroked! It has all Jun parts from Japan, as well as a fully ported Cosworth fully ported head, only 1000cc injectors, and 272 cams. So its pretty stout to say the least, but still very daily drivable! But the car will be send back to the UK here shortly to go back to its owner now that its been built and tested! The owner (here in the US) is sorry to see it go, but has more plants for other cars, i just hope to get more video of it before it leaves us, never to be seen again!

the second race we let out at 180mph and 1/2 of a car ahead of the Supra which was on race gas at an unknown HP level, but it put down around 610ish on pump gas, so it should be closer to 700whp. The EVO put down 607.9whp on the dyno....the cobra was BPU and the supra at the end just had a t67 and put down just over 500whp.
Sitting in the back of the EVO while running was one of the stupidest things I've done so far, at least at those speeds....but it was a RUSH and I'd do it again if i have a chance! the car gets shipped back to the UK (yes, its right hand drive) so it will only be in town for another week or two, so watch out. Next weekend i might have another one for you all!

It is a 1999 Buick Regal GS, the M90 supercharger has been removed, and a custom turbo kit has been installed with a 62-1 turbo. It also has ported heads, bigger cam, and 3.29 gears, as well as a 3200 stall converter....on 17-18 psi it put down 420whp and ran a 12.0 @ 115 on pump gas and some crappy D/R's.....I'm swapping out converters, manifolds and going with a bigger cam, and shooting for mid-low 11's this summer!

hey merc. what mods do you have? My turbo regal will be done before the summer and it'll have a Stattama S2 cam, CT 62-1 kit w/intercooler and ported heads and ill be shooting for low 11's, and 120mph.....so i just wanted to compare setups!

Ok get your racts straight....the fastest GTP ran a 9.011 @ 150+mph. That G TP should have WALKED that Cobra if it was tune right...i have the same se tup on my GTP and i stick right next to cobra's with intake, pulley and ex haust (no headers) and mine isent quite dialed in yet! The 200wasent MPH, it was most likely 200KPH you dumb ass! I would be interested to know what cam and I/C it is running as well because it should have been quicker! Ke ep on the look out for my new turbo setup, ill be shooting for 10's!

My clutch.....its an automatic....a.k.a. torque converter, not clutch! The tranny is still under warranty since i got it fully built, so ill just hav e them replace it for free! Looks like ill be driving the motorcycle this week......

I had just put a new tune on my car 20min before i went racing so i was just testing it out.....it seems to fall on its face top end, but when it was running better w/less mods i pulled 1/2 a car on a bolt-on WS6 from a 40-roll till 130.....check out my videos on there and youll see it "oneslogtp vs speedinjection ws6".....
Thanks for the comments guys! I'm about to take it to the track one last time and then im de-modding and putting a single T66 or T70 on it and seeing how it does! BTW, im "BadAssGTP4u" on ClubGP.

I was the one in the GTP. My car has an XP cam, Stage 2 intercooler, fully built tranny, 3.29 gears, 3200 stall, and fully exhaust, and i was on only 10psi and it is still fairly untuned, and ive only been able to run a 12.9 @106, which sucks for my mods....it should be a mid-low 12 second car once tuned.......I ran 14.7 stock.....i love it how everyone things that GTP's are slow!! Mine looks totally stock, but has a lot of work under the hood....dont under-estimate the 4-door grocery getter!! Oh and to the guy who said i would have lost from a did, think again, im pulling consistant 1.8 60' times and with my D/R's im shooting for 1.7's!!! If you dont believe me then check out the GP forum and see for yourself! Just look for "BadAssGTP4U" or "OneSloGtp" and thats me!

unfortunatly my car (cam'd/intercooled/supercharged GTP) and my buddies 500whp supra wasent a fast enough of a chase car so that was the only video that i could get, but the gsxr600 pulled both times.

WEAK!!! Stage 6's LOWEST whp TTGT kit still makes more power and costs less then Heffner's highest hp kit! Honestly, Heffner is overrated IMHO!
