mods for both? It looks to be pretty cold out as vapor is leaving the tail pipe on the camera car.

Either that or I'm an srt owning geek....

That's for whenever you might decide to go to stage 3.....all the wonders of turbo toys....none of the price.

There is another way if you dont want to pay for the toys...

It really does work also....

you should be able to see high 12's if not better...

well once its installed let us get some more vids...by the way the best addition if you didnt get toys with your order...is a a/f meter....then you can really up the boost with stage 2 since it runs so rich...

Those are the cheapest I have seen for each kit...thought you might be interested...

Stage 3 from Stage 2 Upgrade Kit (Steel Wheel)
$2,331.72

Ohh I got ya...well you could always go stage two....then keep in mind the turbo later..maybe at tax time with some savings...

I was thinking something like PT cheapo wheels that are 7" and some drags for $350 range... Is that front brace the strut tower or the lower chassis from pwerks?

Id say big turbo....50 trim and stage 2.....give you the ability to map up to 22 psi.....but the fuel wont support that with a big turbo...but 330whp should be achievable with about 17 psi...and absolutely no flutter and boost at about 3100-3300rpms...leaving a nice 2700-2900 rpm band. With good traction you can take full advantage.

Bunch of suspension mods?? :-) just curious what mods....

Ill give my idea of traction mod list... took away all my spin on everything but a dropped clutch in first and even then it doesnt spin much @17.5 psi.

front strut tower brace, lower chassis brace, motor mounts, tranny mounts, 7.5" wide rims...(lightweight kosies) bf drag radials used year around since I don't drive much. And about 100 lbs removed from the rear of the car...(helps with weight transfer) Biggest help was the drags....they eliminated the stock tires frying in 2nd to about 60 mph....from a roll.

The stage 2 question....really just depends on your wants. Personally my thoughts although you dont spin much you still spin. Adding more power will still make you spin more. Traction mods should be the way to go so when you do get stage 2 its not wasting the potential. You can easily drop in mid 4's by maximizing traction. That's my opinion at least and everyone knows what those are like.

Def. low 5's...use the pause button and check times on the player.

And you my friend own yourself.

There actually are a lot of folks like this. It just isn't the norm on here because of the folks that are 16 deciding they know all about cars. SRTforums.com Has some real decent members on it. And the forums for streeetfire have a lot better members than the vids section.

I owned 2 fox bodies so I wasn't bashing anything. I owned a newer GT also 2002...I also now own a SRT and love it.

The 5.0 mustang had 285 lbft of torque. Id hardly say there is a lack of anything on either side....They both weigh about the same and they both have about the same amount of power to weight ratio. One fwd the other rwd. That should be obvious by the fact that neither one won by more than a few inches as the video poster said. The srt isnt 25 grand either unless he got ripped a new one which I guess is possible. Still obviously the 21 year old car won't cost very much as compared to a 2-4 year old car.
