Brake boost only helps if you have turbo lag...It puts a load on the turbo so it will boost. A stock turbo it won't matter for srt as stated above.

"they all think they are special for some reason or another."

Umm two srt owners gave props to the hatch on this one....matter of fact it was number 2 and number 3 post. Your hatred for a car shows your ignorance. The hatch was probably gutted.....So what does that make you feel like?

It doesn't have turbo lag it will have full boost around 2300 rpms.

You think maybe the power to weight ratio was just better for the hatch (probably gutted) and just maybe when he got higher up the rpms (where he makes power) thats what pulled him a head.

At the same time you blamed turbo lag you said the car jumped don't those kinda counter each other? if he had turbo lag he couldn't "jump"

The hatch won it's pretty simple here. Although I wish we would stop seeing pitch black races.

Not around Detroit all that much. I do live near the home of the fastest srt though @ Darrell Cox Racing here in NC.

Though there is some stage 2 srt's that break into the 11's it's not common....Stage 3 don't go 9's without a big shot of nitrous and a fully built motor. Matter off act I haven't seen one yet. Although there is one running 9's with a built 2.6 and a turbo the size of your head from DCR that's still street driven...It has an auto tranny.

Boy that sounded like it almost killed you to have to say that.

Just a question but how did you get 17 psi out of the stock turbo at redline? welding the wastegate on most of them you still won't see 17 psi at redline unless you have a very restrictive intake and exhaust and thats pushing it. How are you hiding your 21 psi from the computer? Stage 2?

mods for both? It looks to be pretty cold out as vapor is leaving the tail pipe on the camera car.
