Stock GT500s run mostly mid to high 12's, with the only true bone stock run of 12.2 going to Evan Smith, professional driver for the car magazines, and that run was a fluke, as the other dozen or so passes he made were in the median of mid 12's. On DRs only, there is no way, even a professionaly driven GT500, if otherwise stock, can overcome more than half a second of ET. Somebody lied to you, Allgo5oh, as the 11.8 @ 118 is what most GT500s run with mild mods and drs combined.

Doubting the C6 had N20 or if he did that he used it. BS flag on the 175 top out too...I've been in excess of 175mph and it was ALOT faster than what the vid shows. BTW, I'll take the Evo race anyday...no N20 here....:)

Yeah it looks like he barely passed him at the end, but i'd hardly say destroyed.I agree drs will help the Saleen. Next time, you may want to tell your camera guy to be quite during filming. BTW, of course a $40K Saleen should , by all means, beat a LT1 Camaro....I don't what mods the Camaro had, but they're barely 300HP stock.

For two "untouchable" cars like that to run those times, is, well....disappointing to say the least. A $40K base model C6 Corvette with the LS2 can hit 12.2-12.5's bone stock in the 1/4. I like the cars in the vid, but if I owned one, I'd feel bad about those ETs.

Hate to say it, but it'd take much more than a cam and slicks to get a 4th Gen Fbody into mid 11's. I raced my 2K TA for 5 years and ran deep into the 11's, but it had alot more than a cam.
