EVERYONE SAYS THAT A 750 CFM CARB IS TO BIG,BUT IT SEEMS TO TAKE IT ALL
its a .040 over 350 block with a 400 crank and i think that makes it 385C.I.D because a stock 350 block with the 400 crank is a 383

hey i had to try the intake man it looks awsome.it just has the stock 4 wheel disc brake set up and a stock converter.ive got a timing light without the dwell on the back so i cant set the timing to 30 degrees BTDC until i get ahold of one.i got ahold of a B&M hole shot 3600 stall converter that matches very well with the cam im running(its power range is from 2500 to 7500 RPM,right along with the tunnel ram intake)...and as far as it being loud,it is,theres at most two feet of 2 1/4 in pipe with no mufflers,im going to run 3 inch pipes to the rear and dump them and it should breath better.
no i just put that intake on it and havent got the timing set yet
thats cool......see how urs runs when its 30 degrees out of time!
ya i know but when i put the stall in it it will be a d_mn good race dont you think
411s are good for the track but top end theres no chance to keep up with the 373s
man ill say youve got me on one part, the edlebrock heads.look we all think the world of our cars and yrs is nice too just dont crack on mine and i wont on urs alright.and ill tell you what it would probably be close but a stock roush or saleen has no chance and when i get the stall in it im pretty sure id get you,but again im not knockin on ur ride man, were both just proud of what we have!
i just got ahold of a 3200 stall converter too so now i can run a much bigger cam
ok id say you are faster than stock with those mods but you have to realize that mines no where near stock either and im still just playing with it too.and im not knockin on urs but the only way you would beat mine is the bottle.my brother has an 86 mustang with a 460 with a good sized cam and a 5 speed and on the track i beet him.

no im gonna put a victor jr intake on it.2 carbs is a big hassle.its a crane cams single profile custom grind with .550 lift and 286 durration in major need of a stall and vacume reserve casnister. im lookin to sell that intake or trade for a victor jr.if i cant trade ive been watching them on ebay and there going for between $200 and $300 and with that i can get a victor jr for a buy it now price on a new one for $120 + 20 s&h .i also have a set of 462 casting double hump heads with 68cc and 1.94 & 1.60 with matching #s witch also sell very well in the 3 and $400 range
ya i just found a 3200 stall im gonna put in soon
oops 104 c.i.d. more than the 4.6
ya when i was at the track stock gt were running 9s and 10s depending on the driver and youve got to consider a 4.6 is only 281.1 c.i.d. with a 9.8.1.compession ratio where ive got 104 c.o.d. with a 385 c.i.d stroker more and with 12.5.1.compression.im going off the statistics from motor trend where they tested them and the saleen stock only runs 13.7@102.1mph and im willing to bet that is a stock engine with at most 150 shot witch accually only adds aproximatly 75 hp so you may be good for low 12s or high 11s at best, and im not crackin on ur ride im just stating the facts, so theres no need to talk $hit about my car.

8s in the1/8 and 12s in the 1/4, it would have better times in the 8th with a stall converter
plus its wet out here and if i washed it it would look just like that again on the way home
no, but why wash it when the paint is done
more like it needs painted first
