Mazdas are complete junk and the technicians here couldnt fill a tire with air... My neibor had tools left under the hood, drove home and checked his engine to find out what the clunking was.... fak

Hehe,
My buddies mazda 3 just threw a tranny... it's an 05 with only 14 000KM .... This comes on the heels of 3 other tsb's (Popping when putting car in reverse, transmission sensor failure so you need to start the car in N ....)
Theres another guy at work who we talked to who has the popping sound too, and has a grinding noise at low rmps under drive...
Also, his electronic steering frioed at 6000 KM
Mazda's are junk

I know of 7 mazda speed 6's in my region alone that have blown engines with just minor bolt ons. If you take you're rose colored fanbois glasses off and looked for it, you would find it. You want actual vins? lol I really don't have the time to be writing a consumer report to be honest. I dont care that much about Mazda's enough. And just because some race school signs up with Mazda, doesnt mean a lot these days, its just a sponsorship deal and a bit of marketing/advertising. Wow, NASCAR uses Goodyear, that must make em awesome tires, when in reality, they suck ballz.
The RX-8 as fun as it is being rwd is gutless. The mazdaspeed 3 is fairly decent car, but like I said I want to see this tranny hold once people start tossing on tbe's and tunes.... boom. I just dont see them run well down here unless the severly built up beyond what you would expect. Sorry just not a fanbois here...

That was a pleasant read, and good job searching through all the forums. The Mazdaspeed 6 has engine issues. Its a big fat family car with a pos turbo set up and brutal internals. Don't believe me, youre choice. I have family involved with Mazda.
Now, notice I am not even mentioning the sh1ttyest of all the speed series... the famed Mazda Speed Protoge. Now heres a nother genious move by Mazda and it shows how out to lunch they are.... "Hmmm lets slap a turbo on the stock internals and build a drivetrain out of pressed tinfoil."
Gimme a break I dont need to show you proof of Mazda missing the boat in the late gen cars.
Now, I did drive a fun turbo charged miata but it was overhauled pretty good. Fun car. Oh by the way, thats great about you owning all sorts of cars, and a cutlass... I

Off course I am called out by a mazda owner! lmao. Yes, I have very strong ties to mazda from an engineering perspective. Your wrong, the 6 has blown a lot of engines with just bolt ons and yes they have weak tranny's. btw what type of facts are you looking for? Take it up with Ford and get lost.

Not true retardz... Look into the mazda 6 speed and youll find plenty of blow ups with just bolt ons. Mazda's tranny's are legendary pieces of cow dung. The MS3 is pretty decent and responds great to mods, but they too are blowing tranny sensors/traction control now. Believe me I know this

Mazda's are a joke, wait until the 3's Tranny takes a dump .... The ms6 sucks arze as well. sooooo many are blowing up with just minor bolt ons

dhink I drive a 68 coronet 440 ... lmao

Nope, incorrect. Ls1's fall pretty easily. The LS2's arent that bad, but I ran one and he ran a 13.6!!! I ran an 10.8 !!! lmao
The new GTO is a poor mans muscle car, and I laugh when I hear them call out mustang GT's cause they are just as econo as they are. Youre typical GTO owner has small man syndrome and goes trolling after 4 cyls, then hits the forums to brag about it.

The LS2 is a great engine. The manifold is pretty refined compared to the old ls1... Not really into the fat grand prix look of the new GTO..

They shut the cameras off when they all bum each other at the end... O..o Snap... Seriously, this does look pretty f'n boring

Beautiful! I love that era Trans Am, its a great one to clone, cause it's original. What's under the hood?.

Well Skyline, to be fair, making a post which dictates what is, and what is not considered acceptable and pushing this guy around in his own thread, makes you come across as the assclown here. No offence

Nice Skyline man...... This Xrs isnt that bad, the 8500RPM redline makes the vvt work well.
|
|
|
|
Whata gross interior.... But the Xrs is a great little engine.

The XRS uses the 2ZZ motor Toyota commissioned Yamaha to make. Its closer to a race bike engine than a car engine. You can bump the redline up to 9K and let er rip. The header on the XRS is awesome. This is a potential sleeper motor with the right tweaks.

For sure, the north american z is pretty slow, but a couple bolt on' and your rippin'!

350's are pretty quick. Stillen has some great parts for them to make them faster (supercharger!). They are rwd too which is awesome.
|
|
|
350 your an idiot. I am into American muscle and have a 68 Coronet 426 that runs 11's all day off the bottle. A 13 second car is fast as far as daily driver street terms.
Compared to all the mini vans and daily drivers out there, a 13 second car will hold its own in daily traffic. If you think you need to be running around in a 11 second car on the street to prove youreself youre an assclown. My coronet is not geared for the street as is most 11 second cars. Nub.
