I can't believe you people STILL argue the whole domestic vs import thing.. . I don't care if it's domestic or import, the car is fast, and I respect it for that. Also, don't talk trash about your friends' cousin's dad who has a faster car, thats just retarded. If you have a faster car, more pow er to you, but if not, don't talk trash about other people's cars. Also, if you DO have a faster car, you of all people should have respect for oth er fast cars, seeing as you should know how hard it is to get a car to run like that. Props to Shep and all of his efforts, he has an awesome car.

nice video...and love the ubar STi ;) matt, debadging some cars helps the look a TON, I debadged the trunk on my grand prix, because the stock badge on the looks extremely cheap, and sometimes isn't even lined up properly. GM was trying to save money, but ended up making it look awful in the pr ocess.

by the way, the monte carlo ss wasn't supercharged until 2004. The pontiac grand prix gtp was supercharged from 97-03 before that monte was s/c. Th ose two cars shouldn't be in the comparison though, they are grocery gette rs. trust me, I owned one until yesterday. Nice video!

has anyone considered that this car possibly had a gear swap? That would throw off the MPH pretty quickly. If the speedometer is correct, that's like a 10 second grand prix...those are few and far between. sounds good though. and yes, that speedo is in MPH, just has a white gauge overlay.

trust me, 10 mph difference in starting speed can make a WORLD of differenc e...it can be the difference between starting off in second or third gear in a manual...and in my car, if you start at 35, you get the shift down to 1st gear (automatic :-\ ), but if you go at 45, it only goes to 2nd gear, which doesn't have anywhere near the amount of power of first gear.
I also love how everyone is always talking trash about these cars, they're a wesome cars, if you want to talk trash, have a car to back it up with. Th ough I do agree those cobra's are probably not pushing 700 rwhp...maybe cr ank after the 60 shot, but not wheel hp.

well you can't beat my uncle's brother's dad's 6 second drag car...seriousl y, this arguing is pointless...there will always be a car that is faster t han yours...learn to accept it and move on with your life. This video was just a joke, and if you had any sense of humor, you'd find it funny...as the mustang guy said, you shouldn't take up for the guys that give you imp ort guys a bad name, i know tons of import guys that are really cool and s mart, but the ricers are the ones getting the attention.
