Sounds make a a bit over 500 to the tires. I have 160 miles or so on it right now and everything seems to be fine, so a few hundred more and then i will get it tuned and then i need a transmission before i put the slicks on the car, but i might make a few pump gas and street tire passes. But that's a month down the road, and i will have video!

That was not actually the first start up, but i make it look like it was.....It already had 4 heat cycles before i revved it up......so chill man! It's not my first motor build!

No Jeff that is just the safety strap. The main 2 hold the car down and that is just a backup in case one of those breaks loose so that the car does not fly off the dyno!

TransAmGTA: That is his real name, so get over it!

Ford302: That's pretty much what everyone keeps saying....and he wants to kick my a** for calling him out! Some people just don't get it i guess!! lol

Yeah the car kept bogging down when we hit 4th gear. The Cobra is a ported stock Eaton

the Cobra was not letting out.....the car was bogging down bad and then the throttle would stick. So he is working on getting that fixed.

Built B18, ported head, cams.....a lot of little stuff to insure the 200whp mark N/A. It's a pretty good sleeper!

What old vids are you talking about?
|
|

Integra is a built B18, ported head, cams, GT35R turbo. On race gas it put down 650ish on a dynojet. If you look through my videos there is one of him at the track, but he was on a lower boost setting because it was spinning to bad, but he ended up running an 11.xx at 13x+mph.

The car just put down 456whp on the new setup! I uploaded the video of the dyno pulls and the first start up if anyone is interested!

Merc: Thanks
Sytech: i knew pretty much all of the cars that i ran before hand, so i think they all knew what they were getting into! The unsuspecting races are the best ones, because the looks on their faces are priceless!

That was on 13psi due to a misfire issue which is now resolved. the 402/406 was on 14.5psi and 10.8:1 ARF's for my baseline. I was running a PT61 turbo.
The stock bottom end has been pushed to 700+WHP without failure, and has gone 9.01 @ 151. So my built motor should take more then that, but i will never get that far! I plan to upgrade to a Ball bearing GT40R in the future, but thats a ways down the road. I should be able to hit 10's on race gas and the 62-1 that i am currently putting on the car.

Skalor: The car will be up and running with the new forged motor and bigger turbo in about 2 weeks! Should be good for 500whp, atleast thats the goal for now since its still my daily driver!

No driving or passes being made. Eric was generous enough for taking it out of the trailer, and we tried to get him to run the car, as we have a few 8second street cars that would run, but he did not want to, and i dont blame him!

You need to lean that car out! 11.0's suck! Lean it out a point and you'll gain a good bit of mid and top end!

Good video, what suspension did you end up going with?

Twin disc carbon clutch = impossible to launch! Not to mention the owner is afraid to break the stock driveshaft.....which has been done on BPU 12 second cars!
