Definitely an m3, just listen to the exhaust note. 323, and 328 from that y ear sound substantially weaker and have a little more of a raspy exhaust n ote. But everybody needs to lay off bmw's nuts, because you would be hard pressed to find any car with 240hp that could beat that M3's 240hp..... th ey run side by side with 287hp 350Z's... Who makes the better motor??? I'l l let you guys decide

That thing is amazing. Looks like they chopped it and made it a 2 door. I'd never heard of Norris designs until I saw a video of this car on the drag strip a few weeks back but they mean BUSINESS. Awesome car that thing is absolutely insane!!!

I am just curious how this car that is lightly modded, and comes from the factory with only 197hp, with the mods i'd say maybe what 215 at the crank TOPS! How the heck is it keeping up with an EVO, i am absolutely positively confused, they are either leaving out some of the mods or we are not sitting on board an evo my friends.... Someone please paint this picture a little clearer for me!!!

THE REAL M3 GTR doesn't have a 3.2 liter inline six... It has a 4.0 liter v8.... Just for the record this is more along the lines of a straight piped stock m3 motor. This is a body kit on a basically stock m3 with suspension upgrades..... Real M3 GTR's are an entirely different animal...

Since when is the bmw engine in an engine 3.4 liters??? Last i checked it was a 3.2!!! The engine has 6 cylinders in a straight line and are completely VERTICAL if you look at the block you would see 6 cylinders in a straight line pointing straight up to the sky at a 90 degree angle from the ground. The 90 degree angle they discuss in a V8 would be the degree of the angle between the two sides of the motor. A ninety degree angle turned on its vertex to make it appear to be a V...... Hence why it is called a V 8. If you were really trying to be technical i guess it would be firing at 180 degrees, because that would be a straight line...... Simple geometry never hurt anyone (672521)....

Ford could put huge 5.7 litre engines in all of their if they wanted to, bu t if you chevy guys haven't noticed all the greatest cars in the world are great, because they pull large amounts of horsepower from smaller displac ement motors. BMW, Ferrari, are two key examples, ford doesn't care to put clumsy 5.7 under the hood the entire weight ratio of the car would be des troyed and then the car would drive terribly. Just like a chevy...

Wouldn't call it drifting. It didnt exatcly look effortless either, judging by those steering inputs, looked like the car was driving you.

kph not mph. So ghostrider was in excess of 200 mph or very close to it since 320ish kph is 200 mph and ghostrider blew past the guy whose speedo was showing that on his rear wheel..... This dude is awesome.... Can't say its safe, but definitely awesome

I drive an 2000 E46 323Ci, and it is a given, that this car is an M3 automa tically making it far cooler of a car than my own. Unfortunately for the c ar it would have been much better with a single color paint job, and an oe m door setup. The car that lies beneath the mess you created, is undoubted ly very nice.... Just for those of you accusing those of us who dislike ce rtain vehicles on this site of not owning a car, more specifically "S TFU n00bs!" thanks for coming out though man.....

I am a huge bmw fan, and love the e46 M3, but dear god why would you rice o ut such a beautiful piece of german engineering. It's safe to say the idea of pimping out an M3 is cool, but it's safe to say you failed miserably, and I strogly agree with rob and his comment..... Bmw should have never so ld you a car!

If you were watching the video very closely you would notice the tinted dri ver side window rolling up right before it goes silent, you gotta love the BMW faster that a 550 and quiet on the inside... It doesn't get much bett er than that if your looking for the ultimate luxury/performance vehicle.. . Great sound insulation...

Anyone who truly appreciates cars will admit that is not a good sounding ve hicle. Ricers are like pests, they are everywhere buzzing in our ears maki ng the world we live in an annoying place to live. Trying to race every fa st car they see, and intimidate them by revving the engine until the vtec kicks in, as if they are making an attempt to imitate an angry swarm of ki ller bees.

No you haven't, and if you did it was a BULL SH-IT driver in the M3 or that "stock" evo wasnt really "stock". The only place and I mean the ONLY place a stock evo will beat an M3 is off the line. I'ts all downhill for the evo or sti from there.
