Can't blame you for getting a v6 for gas milage. I would go with some sort of turbo muffler, or maybe a glass pack. I imagine you don't wanna spend much so those are probably your best bang for the buck. Check with magnaflow, they have pretty good products.

Good job EVS, very nice car. Also, isn't it amazing how many "experts" are on this website?

Ok, by race, do you mean a drag race, or a course race? America is about the only place that judges a car solely on 1/4 mile times

A viper running 20 psi on pump gas? Time bomb anyone?

They know all this stuff but still stick a CIB engine for their flagship vehicle, you would think with all that knowhow they would bring the vette up to date. Not that it dosen't perform great, but it could be so much better.

All I am saying is two small valves flow better than one big one, thats my beef with GM.

Sorry Duster, I forgot about the Northstar, good point. Wish they would put out a high performance version of that in the new Camaro.

The new Camaro with the DOHC v6 direct injection and VVT making 300 HP should be ticking off a few V8 owners next year.... to bad the thing weighs so much...

You don't think you can get torque with a OHC engine? Are you retarded?

I will never understand why GM still relies on pushrod engines..... Are they so cheap they don't wanna spend the money on research? For god sake, go DOHC GM! Put a 32 valve V8 in the corvette at least.

What engine is in that 65 F100? My grandfather has a 63 with the inline six, 512000 miles and still running.

Fair enough, I grew up around so many 350 chevys, quite frankly I am board with them now. Thats probably why I like this car. I mean, if all these guys building the first gen camaros really wanna be different, build something other than a 350, 383, 427 or 454. And for God sake not a crate engine! Now a Mechanical fuel injected 327 or a 409 would be something you don't see very often.

You know Denso makes tons of parts for american cars from the factory right? For those of you that don't know, thats a Japanese company. Are all American cars with Japanese parts ricers by your logic?

Gawd some of the comments here .... One guy talks about "Jap" motors yet has a Yamaha motorcycle as his avatar, and another calls anything that isn't a V8 inferior. Where do these guys get this stuff?

Formula one engines are limited to 3 liters

As much as I like V8's its nice to see something different, I agree chevys 4.2 inline six they are making right now with a turbo would have been pretty cool too if they had put one in there.

I wonder how cherry this car was before they did the work on it, Could have been pulled out of the weeds for all we know.

Was this a SS350 to begin with, or a SS396? Tons of 350s were made in mexico which makes one wonder just how American most of them are.

Never liked lambos, fast cars, but to easy to tear up. With the millions of camaros out there with small/big blocks, its nice to see something different. If that had been a 68 Z/28 with the 302 I would be kinda urked, but the build quality is awesome! What about the rest of the drive line? What else is in there?

I guess its for the best.... That kid would have talked his dad into giving him that car in a few years anyways.... might as well go ahead and trash it now. Rich people confuse me...
