for what a viper cost, i could easily build a fox body pro mod that runs low 7's, my daily driver is a 501 rwhp fox body, cost me about 14,500 to build, it runs 10.86 @133 granny shifting.... i stick with the mustang which at least has some history and nostalgia... i personally think every viper owner that thinks there cars are fast got ripped off.... there fast all right, just not fast enough in my book to justify the price tag... I KILL VIPERS, along with the 2v blown gt... i bet the viper guy cried....hahaah

I know what 205674 is saying though in the rice comment. the new viper looks a lot like a Honda S2000.

I'd still take the Viper anyday over the Ford. Ford=Fixed Or Repaired Daily .It's true I used to own one myself and something always broke.And I bet t he Viper corners a lot better than that Mustang.I'll never by a Ford again .Mustang is cheap because it's not built to last.Save yourself a lot of tr ouble, don't buy Fords.

Different cars for different people. According to mustang owners EVERYONE h as to have a fast cheap car, come on... Vipers are cool because they easy to make fast, and have the looks. Both Sir Hiss and the Heffner car are 7 second street legal cars, and more on the way... Mustangs are cool if thei r for you, for others they are not.

I believe that is what the Ford Gt is for.

Am i the only one here that noticed that Mustang run a 10.335 at 134? Im no t sure what planet everyone else is on but where im standing right now, th ats a bloody fast car. And if you guys wanna compare stock to stock, go bu y a Motortrend for christ sakes. Respect what deserves respect. And im wil ling to be the farm that Stang is daily driven. Cheers
