A stock Hayabusa is factory speed limited to 186 MPH as are ALL motorcycles manufactured today including the ZX-14R Kawasaki. Modified (especially some Lingenfelter models) C5 Corvette Z06's are definitely capable of exceeding that speed since a stock one C5 Z06 went 181 MPH. A C6 Z06 will attain 197 MPH off the showroom according to more than one magazine road test performed with both timers and GPS. Replace nothing more than the ignition box on the Hayabusa with a Dynojet Power Commander and the Hayabusa will go approximately 194 MPH with stock exhaust. A header on a Hayabusa will not benefit the engine unless it is highly modified but the stock exhaust weighs about 17 lbs more than most headers.

Also, there are different kits available. And people don't always leave those things stock either. My guess is he had this one modded against the busa.

L C5 can do even lower than 10, the best was about mid 9, and if this is st ock turbo busa it can easy do 9 flat, so in the quarter mile they would be equal, or turbo busa would won... and just how much does lingenfelter cos ts??? for a 25k you can modd the bike to blow in low 7 high 6...

Not all Lingenfelter vettes are equal!!! Some make over 1100 @ the wheels. This vette is not one of those obviously. The fastest turn key Street vett e will run in the high 8's on slicks, no way 7's. But this vette did beat the busa no matter what any one says here.

The Lingenfelter Vette runs a 1/4 mile in 9.5 seconds on street tires. It only has a 0-60 in 3.2 on street tires... It has a 0-60 in 1.9 flat on SL ICKS. On SLICKS, it would run a 1/4 in the 7 second range. That Vette wo uld pull rank on the Busa if it had slicks on.
