The X-charger kit for the 2005 4.0L V6 mustang contains an MP90 supercharger. This MP90 has a bypass valve and a bypass valve actuator which is triggered by vacuum in the engine. When open the engine doesn't run under boost, when closed however the supercharger is permitted to force air down the engine.
