The Ideal Candidate:

Has a passion for online advertising and video and loves the excitement that comes along with building a company and winning with friends. This position plays a critical role in supporting StreetFire’s effort to sell and support online advertising.

Responsibilities:

This is a support position responsible for harnessing the value of StreetFire’s audience on behalf of StreetFire and our advertisers. The position supports StreetFire’s VP of Business Development and Advertising Sales. In this role you’ll help brainstorm marketing ideas and products, create sales presentations, analyze research and help service the business we win. In some firms this is called a marketing services position. In others it is an operations role. At StreetFire this role will span both disciplines and include post sale servicing. The successful candidate can expect to spend their time in each day engaged in the following:

25%

Operations
This involves monitoring our ad serving and inventory. Checking on the ad networks and making adjustments where needed. Scheduling new campaigns. Providing reports and ensuring we get the proper information for billing.

40% Marketing Services
This involves brainstorming campaign ideas. Creating mockups to support those ideas and writing sales presentations and media plans. This also involves using research to educate our customers and help them better use our site.
25% Pre and Post Sales Support
This involves following up on inquiries from potential advertisers and directing them to the information or ad rep that they need. This may include some selling. Post sale you’ll help monitor our clients campaigns to ensure they are getting maximum performance.
10% Miscellaneous
From time to time StreetFire participates in conferences and produces custom video for clients. You’ll be involved in this process and will be involved in helping increase StreetFire’s image and relationship base.

Skills The ideal candidate will have________

  • strong computer skills
  • experience with databases (Salesforce a plus)
  • an interest in and some experience in online marketing
  • experience creating basic art (ppt ok…photoshop a plus)
  • an understanding of internet media and media in general
  • great powerpoint and excel skills
  • strong communication skills
  • the ability to solve problems and thrive in diversity

Experience:

2+ years in a support role in a media organization Automotive and marketing experience preferred
